Does The Trash Run On Memorial Day? We’ve Got The Answer

TULSA — City officials have announced holiday closures and service changes in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26.
City Hall, Municipal Court, Tulsa Parks community centers, the Oxley Nature Center, Tulsa Animal Services, the Household Pollutant Collection Facility, and the city’s mulch site will all be closed for the holiday. Additionally, MetroLink Tulsa will suspend bus service on Memorial Day.
However, some city facilities will remain open. Mohawk Park Golf Course, Page Belcher Golf Course, and the Tulsa Zoo will be open to the public and operating under regular hours.
Trash and recycling services will continue as scheduled on Memorial Day. Yard waste and bulky waste pickups scheduled for Monday will instead be collected on Tuesday, May 27.
Residents experiencing water or sewer issues can call the city’s 24-hour emergency lines at (918) 596-9488 for water-related problems or (918) 586-6999 for sewer issues.
