About Us

Tulsa Moms was formed in 2018 when local volleyball coach Lauren Merrill and a group of friends were struggling to find information on activities to do with their children. As owners of radio stations and digital media platforms, Lauren and her husband Grant brainstormed with their friends on what could be done to fill that void.

As a result, Tulsa Moms was born.

Between a website, a massive Facebook group, and a Facebook page aimed at local moms and families, the brand has grown into one of the most recognized names in the Tulsa metro area. With over 30,000 members in the Facebook group, 22,000 followers on our social media platforms, and website visitors from all over, Tulsa Moms has become more than just a media outlet, it’s a trusted resource for those who need to know what is going on. Since it all started, Tulsa Moms and it’s founding family has been recognized on most of our local news outlets, and even made an appearance or two on Good Morning America!

After a brief recess following the COVID-19 pandemic, the TulsaMoms.Com website has relaunched as of April 2025, and the Merrill family is more committed than ever to making sure local families have a place to stay in the know about things that affect some of the most important folks in the house – Mom and the kids.
