Sensory-Friendly Family Hours at Discovery Lab
Families looking for a quieter museum experience can visit Discovery Lab on Sunday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. during its Sensory-Friendly Family Hours. The museum adjusts lighting and sound levels to create a more comfortable space for children on the autism spectrum and others who benefit from a low-stimulation environment, while keeping all core exhibits open for hands-on learning.

Based on the wildly popular children’s book series by Dav Pilkey, creator of Captain Underpants, the musical adaptation brings to life the hilarious adventures of Dog Man — a crime-fighting half-dog, half-man hero who works to protect the city from mischievous villains like Petey the Cat and Flippy the Fish.

Produced by TheaterWorksUSA, Dog Man: The Musical has been praised for its clever humor, catchy music, and heartwarming themes. Movie on the Green at Guthrie Green
When: Saturday, Nov. 1, 6:30–9 p.m.
Where: Guthrie Green, 111 E. Reconciliation Way, Tulsa
Downtown Tulsa’s Guthrie Green will host a free outdoor screening of Twilight this Saturday evening. Families can enjoy food trucks, music, and lawn games before the movie begins at dusk. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. The event is open to the public and is suitable for older children and teens.


Nature Academy at the Tulsa Zoo
